r.i.c.e. is a research institute for compassionate economics. We are a non-profit organization focused on health and well-being in India, especially children in rural north India.
Our current focus is the Project on Breastfeeding and Newborn Care. It is a partnership with Maharaja Suhel Dev Autonomous State Medical College in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh and with Development Consortium. A core component of the program is Kangaroo Mother Care for preterm and low birthweight newborns.
